We had the beef patty, plantains and oxtail stew with rice and red beans. This was our first visit to this restaurant and it did not disappoint. The food was very flavorful and just the right amount of spice. The owners were also very friendly. This is a MUST VISIT PLACE TO CHECK OUT!!!
I got the oxtail w/ rice and peas and cabbage. The ox tails were perfectly tender and very flavorful. I think the cabbage was cooked in coconut oil which I really appreciate because not only is it delicious, but it's much better for our health. This chef's rice and peas were some of the most flavorful I have had in my life, and the bites of sweet plantain brings balance to the dish. Everything was cooked perfect, and I can not wait to return. Thank you.
Ordered the jerk chicken (small) and a beef patty. Both were hot, fresh, and delicious!! The serving size of the small was a great portion size! The rice was the best rice I’ve ever had. Will def be back!

10/10 would recommend if you are looking for food that is full of flavor. The jerk chicken was sweet, smoky, with a hint of spice (I asked for mild sauce). The oxtail stew was so tender that it fell off the bone. I absolutely loved the steamed cabbage. I could eat it everyday. The fried plantains were the exact accompaniment to each entree that we ordered, balancing out all the flavors. Customer service provided by Lexi was great! Quick, efficient, and friendly.
This restaurant in Krate, wesley grove, is the place to go to, when you crave, west Indian food. They make some delicious jerk chicken, curry goat.their portions are very generous. Food is prepared from scratch and no frozen food. You should visit this place, when you are at the grove, KRATE. The service is top of the notch, and their greeting will melt your heart. It is a "home" away from "home"
I recently visited ‘Rhythm Pon Di Grill’ and had the steamed fish with rice and peas, along with steamed cabbage. The food was absolutely delicious—well-seasoned and full of flavor. The portion size was generous, and the fish was cooked to perfection. The owner was incredibly friendly, making sure to check in with customers, and the ambience was very warm and inviting, creating the perfect vibe for a relaxed meal. The staff were also very courteous and attentive. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and will definitely be going back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great Jamaican food in a welcoming setting!
